Language(s) Used by Lead Teacher and/or Program Staff with Children (Other than English) (CDD-801A Only)
This refers to the actual languages used by staff when engaging with children during the program, excluding English. It focuses on the languages used in practice, not just those the staff are proficient in. Include both formal instruction and informal communication (e.g., during play, routines, or transitions).
Where to Find It:
There may not be a centralized location to find this information, each program may be different as each lead teacher and program staff may use different languages with children.
Rules and Guidelines:
- This field is only required for center-based CCTR and center-based CMIG programs. All other programs must leave blank.
- This information field is required.
- This field must contain at least 2 characters.
- Leading zero must be included.
- See list of language codes on CCD-26 Confidential Application for Child Development Services and Certification of Eligibility form, Section IV Data on Children Column 8: Native Language Codes.
- When inputting multiple codes, separate each with a comma.
- Do not include a space between multiple codes.
- May leave blank if only English is spoken.
- This field must be left blank during non-DLL reporting months.
