Child’s Gender

The Child’s Gender information field indicates whether the child receiving subsidized child care services through an agency’s contract is female or male.

Where to Find It

On the CCD 26 Form, look in the box “Sex” in Section IV: Data on Children. On the CCD 26, M = Male and F = Female.

Rules and Guidelines

• This information field is required.
• There are only two choices:
  • Male
  • Female

• The box was not checked on the CCD 26 Form, and I cannot tell the gender. What should I do?
