Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) includes the statutes governing subsidized child care and development programs, as outlined below:
- WIC Section 10200 – 10206 includes provisions related to the transfer of child care programs to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).
- WIC Section 10207 – 10490 includes provisions related to the child care and development programs administered by CDSS.
- WIC Sections 11320 – 11329.5 includes provisions related to California Work Opportunities and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Welfare-to-Work activities.
