Q6:
How are the needs of the counties being collected and incorporated into the CECRIS design?
A6:
The CECRIS team is working with a representative group of county subject matter experts (SMEs) identified by the California Welfare Directors Association (CWDA). These individuals represent a variety of county type, sizes, and the consortia system they use. Additionally, CECRIS has a dedicated SME, with experience as a county claim preparer, advising the CECRIS Development Team in the design of the application. Finally, from time-to-time the CECRIS product is shared with other groups for feedback, such as the CEC/CA800 Users Group.

Q19:
When we create a Mock Claim in CECRIS, is it going to be a permanent record in CECRIS or is it a temporary record as scenarios that can be deleted?
A19:
- We are exploring having counties use a non-Production environment such as the CECRIS Training environment so that the mock claims will not affect Production data (e.g., allocation balances).
- The Mock Claims would be created and maintained by the county but never be submitted to CDSS.
- If the county saved the mock claim there would be a record in the training environment.

Q20:
Will the information in the Mock Claim be available for County Access only, or will it also be available to others including CDSS?
A20:
- Other counties would not be able to view your Mock Claims.
- A CDSS system Administrator would have access to the training environment in order to update the claim templates.
- You could download the output reports, save to location outside CECRIS and clear the data in the claim.
Note: We are still working on solutions for Mock Claims and the above is one option. We will gather additional requirements from the Stakeholders when we are ready to work on the Mock Claim development.
