All Partner H.R. 1 CalFresh Implementation Advisory Group

Purpose

To bring together partners to collaborate with CDSS and advise on the implementation of House Resolution 1 (H.R. 1) provisions and on strategies to improve accuracy.

Objectives

• Shared Understanding
  • Align on USDA policy and corresponding CDSS policy guidance.
  • Develop a common understanding of the Payment Error Rate and its root causes.
• Implementation Updates
  • Share progress on H.R. 1 implementation and discuss any unanticipated challenges.
• Advise on Policy Operationalization and Accuracy Efforts
  • Provide input on policy and automation decisions, with attention to client and county impacts. Provide recommendations on accuracy improvement strategies, including feasibility, timelines, and resource needs.
     

Meeting Cadence

Second Tuesday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through June 2026.
