Most Commonly Cited Deficiencies

The Most Commonly Cited Deficiencies reports are produced annually and provide a list of the most commonly cited deficiencies by year and facility type. Currently, lists are limited to the most commonly cited deficiencies for facility inspections where the Compliance and Regulatory Enforcement (CARE) Tool was used. Child Care

2020 and 2021 - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most field operations were suspended beginning March 2020, as CCLD shifted to providing technical assistance related to infection control guidance. Field operations resumed gradually, beginning mid-2021. There was not adequate data available to create a meaningful list for 2020 or 2021.

Children's Residential

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, suspended field operations, and the gradual return of field operations from 2020 through 2021, there was not adequate data available to create meaningful lists for 2020 or 2021. Most Commonly Cited Deficiencies lists will be available once data is available to report.

Adult and Senior Care

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, suspended field operations, and the gradual return of field operations from 2020 through 2021, there was not adequate data available to create meaningful lists for 2020 or 2021. Adult and Senior Care inspections using the full CARE Tool began in March of 2023. Most Commonly Cited Deficiencies lists will be available once data is available to report.
