Recipe Requirements in the CACFP

Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) operators serving homemade foods should reference the California Department of Social Services Recipe Requirements in the CACFP document to learn when a recipe is required for homemade foods, what documentation to include in recipes, and how to determine the contribution to the CACFP meal patterns in one serving of a homemade recipe.
