CACFP Family Child Care Home Participation StoryMap

The CACFP developed this interactive StoryMap in collaboration with the University of California Agriculture and natural Resources (UC ANR). This map visualizes the participation of Family Child Care Homes in the CACFP in California as of the 2022-23 program year. The StoryMap explores key factors related to community food insecurity, income and food access, USDA area eligibility for CACFP, and sponsor coverage. Users can explore this StoryMap with the included directions, allowing them a closer look into CACFP program data. CACFP Impact Reports

The CACFP Impact Report provides a streamlined look into key metrics from the program year, both by county and for California overall. This information includes, but is not limited to meal counts, reimbursements to program operators, and enrollment/participation numbers. Should users need additional data not provided in the Impact Report, they now have access to the CACFP Data Request Center.
