CACFP Reimbursement Rates
Information about current reimbursement rates in the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP).
2024-2025 Reimbursement Rates
These rates are effective from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Centers
Rates for meals and snacks served in child care centers, outside-school-hours care centers, at-risk afterschool care centers, and adult day care centers.
Note: CACFP center rates do not include cash-in-lieu value for commodities. Centers receive cash-in-lieu of commodities equal to $0.3000 for each lunch and supper served to enrolled participants.

In CNIPS, the Payment Summary for public school food authorities (SFAs) will indicate the Fund Authority as “Prop 98.”
Note: Due to the 2021 Budget Bill Approval, the state rate has been extended to all CACFP child care center operators, including those that are not public school food authorities (non-SFAs.) In CNIPS, the Payment Summary for all non-SFAs will indicate the Fund Authority as “Non Prop.”
State Meal Reimbursement for Breakfast and Lunch at Day Care Homes Sponsored by a Public School Food Authority

Day Care Home sponsoring organizations that are public school food authorities (SFAs) receive $0.2160 state reimbursement for 75 percent of the breakfast and lunches served to participating children. In CNIPS, the Payment Summary for SFAs will indicate the Fund Authority as "Prop 98."
