Benefits & Services

• Afghan and Iraqi Special Immigrant Visa Holders Afghan or Iraqi nationals granted an SIV or SQ/SI parole for their service to the U.S. government.
• Amerasians from Vietnam Children born in Vietnam to Vietnamese mothers and American fathers and are admitted under the Ameriasian Homecoming Act of 1988.
• Asylees Individuals who has fled their country and is unable or unwilling to return due to persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution.
• Certified Human Trafficking Victims Foreign national adults and minors who have been subjected to a severe form of human trafficking.
• Cuban and Haitian Entrants Cuban or Haitian nationals: 1) granted parole as a Cuban/Haitian Entrant; 2) in removal proceedings; or 3) with an application for asylum pending.
• Humanitarian Parolees from Afghanistan (AHPs) Afghan individuals who have been or will be granted humanitarian parole in response to their need for rapid evacuation and relocation under Operation Allies Refuge/Operation Allies Welcome.
• Humanitarian Parolees from Ukraine (UHPs) Ukrainian individuals, or non-Ukrainian individuals who last habitually resided in Ukraine, who have been or will be granted humanitarian parole in response to Russia’s war on Ukraine.
• Refugees Individuals granted refugee status overseas because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution.
• Repatriates U.S. citizens and their dependents brought back from a foreign country to the United States because of a crisis.
• Victims of Criminal Activity (U Nonimmigrant Status) Victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.
• Victims of Human Trafficking (T Nonimmigrant Status) Victims of a severe form of trafficking and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.
