Kinship Support Services Program
Kinship Support Services Program (KSSP) provides non-financial support services to relative caregivers and the children placed in their homes. This program supports caregivers who have children who are dependents of the juvenile court as well as children who are not court-dependent children. KSSP also provides post permanency services to relative caregivers who have become the legal guardian or adoptive parent of a formerly dependent child. The goal of this program is to further strengthen a family’s ability to maintain a supportive and stable environment for a child in their care.
KSSP is funded by some California counties in partnership with community based serve providers.
