Request for Proposal (RFP)

The Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program’s authorizing statutes required the CDSS, in collaboration with the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), to develop and administer a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select counties and/or regional collaboratives of counties to participate.

The CDSS was appropriated approximately $61.3 million to award to counties selected to participate in the Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program. The CDSS released the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program on July 13, 2022.

To be considered for this pilot opportunity, prospective lead county agencies were required to submit a completed proposal package, as specified in the RFP, by December 1, 2022.
