General Child Care and Development (CCTR) Expansion
Funding Opportunities
The intent of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to expand General Child Care and Development (CCTR) for full-day, full-year funds for General Child Care and Development services statewide. To expand CCTR services, this RFA funding opportunity is available to both Local Education Agencies (LEA) and non-LEAs. These funds are intended to provide direct services for eligible children as defined in California Welfare and Institutions Code (W&IC) Section 10213.5(i). Priority will be given to applicants providing direct services to infants and toddlers in underserved areas as identified by the Local Planning Council (LPC). LPC Priorities are located on the CCDD LPC Priorities web page.
Awards will be made by county allocation, and within each county by Local Planning Council priority area, with highest scores being funded first. Typically, this funding is made available annually as identified in the budget act.
