The JV-220 Psychotropic Medication Approval
By law, a child who is a ward or dependent of Juvenile Court or in foster care may not receive psychotropic medication without a court order. The Judicial Council of California has created a series of forms used to request psychotropic medication approval from the Court. These forms make up the “JV-220 Process.”
