The Out of State Placement Policy Unit is proud to announce the upcoming changes for the California Department of Social Services !

The National Electronic Interstate Compact Enterprise (NEICE): The NEICE is a databasethat will change the way our unit does business. Launching late fall of 2016, in coordination with the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) , the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is implementing a web based system to exchange documents that are vital to facilitate out of state placements of foster and probation youth through ICPC.
