This Management Bulletin rescinds Management Bulletin (MB) 00-204, dated August 2000.

MB 00-204 stated that private, unaffiliated centers that contract with Head Start agencies could participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) only under their own program agreements. The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently rescinded this policy. Private, unaffiliated centers may now participate in the CACFP under an agreement with this office, or they may participate under the agreement of the Head Start agencies with which they contract.
