This Management Bulletin provides information on business practice resource information offered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service.
To improve the business practices of sponsoring organizations and providers, USDA encourages interested agencies to contact the Small Business Administration (SBA) and its related organizations including the Service Corps of Retired Executives, Business Information Centers, Tribal Business Information Centers, and Women’s Business Centers.
Created in 1953, the SBA aids and assists small business concerns through services that include free business development advice, a variety of free classes, and a resource center.
The SBA serves California through six district offices located in Sacramento, San Francisco, Fresno, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and San Diego. To obtain more information on SBA services, please visit the SBA website.
