National CACFP Week

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is proud to celebrate National Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Week with California CACFP Operators and providers!

National CACFP Week is an education and information campaign sponsored annually by the National CACFP Association. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of how the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) CACFP works to combat hunger and bring healthy foods to tables across the country for children and adults.

To help promote this year’s campaign we are encouraging California’s CACFP operators and providers to post a Menu Feature by sharing a picture of a CACFP-approved recipe or snack on Instagram, X, or Facebook.
