The Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) is a Federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans, including elderly people, by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost.

Who is it for?

Low-income people who meet established federal income guidelines whose household resides in the geographical area being served. This income guideline chart is designed to help to determine if you or your household is below the maximum income requirements to receive USDA commodities.

How to Apply:

If your household meets the requirements, visit the approved food banks list to locate a food bank in your area and find the closest distribution location.
